This Prong collar cover is a very well designed item !First, after the cover is put on, it tends to prevent the links from tangling back on one another, as it tends to stiffen the collar – as another reviewer wrote.Second, because it prevents ‘tangle-back’ – it makes the actual prong collar easier to put on. You aren’t trying to untangle the links first, then untwist the chain at the top! That is a major plus.Third, on an all-black dog – it makes the collar, from the top and sides, disappear. I have always put the black rubber tip covers on each prong – seems to make it gentler on the neck, so the ‘chrome’ of the collar is pretty much hidden, between the black cover, and the black tips.Fourth, the small Velcro tabs, on the collar cover, which lap-over the actual links, from one side of the collar – to the other — make the collar cover very easy to put on, and take off.I hope you have this patented, because I can see Lupine producing these in the variety of prints their collars currently come in – unless you beat them to it.Very nice product – thanks!
