Angel Dear – Brown Giraffe, Blankie

I tried to get my son to associate with a “lovely” for the first 10 months of his life. I tried different types of blankets that we received as gifts but nothing stuck. I decided to get the Angel Dear giraffe based off the good reviews. Within a week of having this blanket it became a requirement for my son’s bedtime. Now anytime he is tired or cranky we tell him to go get “Roger” and immediately he perks up. It is the perfect size for him to throw over his shoulder while walking around, rub it on his face when he is tired, put it on the ground and lay his head on it, and delicately play with it in his hands when falling asleep. I usually don’t write reviews but after tonights experience I had to share…We have had Roger now for 5 months and tonight was the first time my son threw it in his bath while my husband was getting the water ready. By the time I got home from work the blanket was very wet but despite my attempts to distract my son to use a different blanket to fall asleep, I had to wait until he fell asleep with the wet giraffe and then put it in the dryer. The blanket gets one star as a bath toy but definitely five stars for a lovey!
